Matthew David Romano was born April 4, 1996. He passed away on April 6, 2025. He was 29 years old. He lived and loved as a husband, father and charter fisherman.
He is survived by his wife Kelsie Jordan Romano and daughter Lilee A. Romano; parents Desiree Germek Guidry, Ronald 'Ronnie' Romano; brothers Devon M. Romano, Grant J. Guidry and Lane G. Guidry. Grandmothers Marylin (Kay) Wingate Calhoun and Patricia James Smith; great grandmother Barbara Townsend Wingate; uncles Michael Germek-Darst, Todd Darst, Bryan, Rustin, Tony and Bradley Romano.
Preceded in death by grandfathers John Calhoun and Anthony (Buddy) Romano; great grandparents R.V. and Leola James, Robert (Bobby) Wingate, Roy Anthony and Daisy Palermo Romano.
He was a Graduate of St. Amant High School in 2015; He loved his wife, daughter, dog and fishing. He will be extremely missed not only by those he was closest to but also many friends and extended family.
