Mavis Jeannette Vardaman

A ceremony celebrating the life of Mavis Jeannette Vardaman are pending for a later date at Emmanuel Baptist Church 10453 Arnold Road Denham Springs. Dr. Max Lee will be officiating the service. Mrs. Vardaman was born in New Albany, MS and departed from this life on Wednesday May 1, 2019 at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center at the age of 58 years. She was a resident of Denham Spring, and a member of the Baptist Faith. She was an avid football fan especially of LSU Tigers and New Orleans Saints. She enjoyed flowers, shopping, time spent in her rocking chair, crafts and out for social time dancing. Her passion and the love of her life was her grandkids and family. She is preceded in death by her parents Johnny and Nellie Faye Holloway Files; siblings Nita, Johnny Dale and set of infant twins. Survivors include her children Crystal (Jeffrey) and James (Michelle); her grandchildren Joel, Erin, Elisa and Anthony; siblings Donald, Sue, Peggy, Faye and Billy; also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
