Melanie Sarver

A ceremony celebrating the life of Melanie R. “Mel” Sarver will be held at 6:00 pm on February 20th, at Forst Park Church of Christ, Crowley.

Melanie was born in Clearlake, Texas on July 19, 1983, and passed from this life on January 19, 2025, at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center Main Campus Baton Rouge after a sudden illness at the age of 41 years.

She is preceded in death by her mother Anna Leblanc Hodges.

Survivors include her children Ryan, Rilee, and Lhinkon, brother William “Trey” Walton Jr., father William Walton Sr., fiancé Zach Ford, also survived by a host of friends.
