Michael D. 'Mike' Foster

Michael D ”Mike” Foster passed away in Walker, Louisiana, at the age of 73 on Sunday, January 12, 2025. Michael was born on April 2, 1951 in Baton Rouge, LA. 

Michael grew up in Greenwell Springs, LA. and was a proud veteran having served in the US Air Force. He spent many years in management and loved to speak of his dear family and was passionate about LSU sports. He was a resident of Walker, LA and adored his siblings, children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. 

He is preceded in death by his wife, Rosalie Foster, daughter, Heidi McFarland, his parents Elgine and Kathryn Foster, and brother Ray Foster. 

Michael is survived by his son Chris Foster (Heidi); grandchildren Alli Moreau (Tristan), Chase Clough (Sydney), Kyle Drane, Kaitlyn Simms (Jack), Kendall Foster; great-grandchildren Rivers, Teddy, Kimmy and Jasper. He is also survived by siblings Randy Foster and Cindy Roux and many nieces and nephews. 

Visitation and services will be held at Magnolia United Methodist Church in Greenwell Springs, LA on Saturday, February 1, 2025 from 2:00pm until 3:30pm with memorial service to follow. Burial will be held at Evergreen Memorial Park in Denham Springs, LA.
