Michael Shane Graves

Michael Shane Graves, born on April 26, 1975, in Metairie, Louisiana, passed away on January 21, 2025, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana at the age of 49. He was a resident of Gonzales, Louisiana. 

Michael's educational journey culminated in a remarkable achievement when he graduated from both Tulane University and Loyola University on the same day. He was a chemical engineer for most of his career. 

Beyond his professional accomplishments, Michael was an avid sports fan, relishing the excitement and camaraderie that came with cheering for his favorite teams. He was a talented athlete himself, excelling in tennis and golf. His love for animals was well-known. Traveling to new places also ignited his adventurous spirit, allowing him to experience the beauty of the world and create cherished memories along the way.

Michael is survived by his wife, Mitzi Graves, brother Jason Corrent, aunt Diana Le Marie and uncle Donnie Panepinto. He also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father, Samuel Graves, and his mother, Carol Panepinto Graves.

A Celebration of Life will be held in California at a later date, allowing friends and family to gather together to honor and celebrate the life of Michael Shane Graves.
