Michael Paul Bardwell

Michael “Mike” Paul Bardwell, resident of Prairieville, passed away on Tuesday, May 3, 2022, at the age of 53. Mike proudly served in the National Guard. He acquired his Master’s in Computer Science and had a long, successful career in Technology. Mike enjoyed his time spent with his family and friends, traveling, and camping. Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Shawn Bardwell; children, Jade Bardwell Gautreaux and husband, Vance Gautreaux; grandchildren, Corbin and Cambry Gautreaux; R. Austin Poole and wife Ronda Poole; grandchildren Nolan and Deaken; father, Joe Bardwell; mother, Kathleen Bardwell; brother, Dwight Bardwell; niece, Alex Bardwell. Mike is preceded in death by Barbara Mabry, Ellen Kaigler, John David Kaigler Sr., Alma Bardwell Petermann. A private memorial to celebrate his life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in Mike’s honor to St. Jude’s Children Research Hospital. Arrangements entrusted with Church Funeral Services of St. Amant.
