Nathan R. Burns
A ceremony celebrating the life of Nathan R. Burns will be held at Christ Healing Community Church, 404 West Pine Street, Gonzales, Louisiana on Saturday, February 27, 2021 at 11:00 am.
Nathan was born in Baton Rouge on February 3, 1983 and passed from this life on Saturday February 13, 2021 at The Crossing of Clarity Hospice at the age of 38 years.
He was a resident of Prairieville and worked in the construction industry. He was a member of Christ Healing Community, where he was involved in the music ministry and was a talented drummer. Music was his passion Nathan played and wrote music at one time as a member of the band “War Cries”. He used that talent to enhance his walk with Christ as he was involved with music ministry-outreach programs.
He is preceded in death by his beloved parents Jack and Rebecca Marple Burns.
Survivors include his sister Amber “Amy” Burns, nephew Jayden Burns, Aunts Rene Gutierrez and Dixie Lawrence, Uncle Arthur “Boo” Ducote. He is also survived by a host of other aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives and his feline companion “Bianca”, his spoiled kitten!
Appreciation is expressed to some very special, supportive, and helpful friends Pastor Clayton, Tyson, Michael, Laura, Pierre, Chris, Shay, T Shanda, and J.T.
