Oliver Tanner

Oliver David Tanner, born August 10, 1953, to the late Irreas Tanner and the late Loza Smith Tanner, at a doctor’s office in Gonzales, Louisiana, went to meet Jesus on Tuesday morning, October 10, 2023, from the Chateau St. James Nursing Home in Lutcher, LA.

He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Kathy Witmer Tanner; sister, Diana Tanner Shelton; brother, Irreas “Red” Tanner, Jr. and a host of nieces and nephews and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, sisters, Brenda Tanner Perkins and Ann Tanner Richardson, and other family members.

Anyone who knew Oliver knew how much he loved his electronic gadgets, computers, and also loved to laugh.

Services will be held at the Liberty Baptist Church of St. Amant located at 10414 Acy Road, St. Amant, LA on Monday, October 16, 2023. Viewing will be from 10:00-11:00 AM, funeral Service will begin at 11:00 AM.
