Patsy Lobell Guitreau

Patsy Lobell Guitreau, 66, was a resident of Head of Island, La. She passed away February 25, 2024, in Baton Rouge surrounded by her family. Patsy was raised in French Settlement, La. And was a 1975 graduate of French Settlement High School. Patsy worked for Mary Bird Perkins as an insurance specialist until 2016. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. Patsy’s family was everything to her and nothing was more important to her than spending time with them.

Patsy is preceded in death by her parents, Noel (Jack) Lobell and Frances Lobell Brown; sister, Loraine Lobell Long.

She is survived by her husband, Al Guitreau; her children, Mandy Barnett (Butch) and Curtis Carter (Shelly); 11 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; sister Marie Lobell Kohl (Paul).

Visitation to be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church in French Settlement on Saturday, March 2, 2024 from 9am – 11am. Mass will follow at 11am. Pallbearers are Scott Long, Brian Kohl, and grandsons Jeremy, Stephen, Bryson, and Ethan. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to St. Jude.
