Peggy Ann Poche

Born on 6/05/1942, in Baton Rouge, LA, entering her eternal resting place on 6/18/2024, at her home in Gonzales, LA. 

Survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Joseph Gabriel Poche Sr, sons Joseph Gabriel Jr (Kathy), Jason Poche (Kristy) and Robin Poche, grandchildren, Jay (Drew) and Justin Poche, Timothy (Chelsea) and Sydney Poche (Joseph), great-grandchildren, Grayson and Nixon Poche, Styles and Dray Poche, and Weston Seymore, brothers, Lionel John Jr “LJ” DeLaune (OlaKay) and Jeff DeLaune (Francis), sisters, Margaret Matthews, Lynette Ourso (Bobby), Maureen Bernard, sister-in-law Lucille Little, brother-in-law Donald Lambert (Julie), numerous nieces and nephews, that were all near and dear to her heart.

Proceeded in death by her father, Lionel John DeLaune Sr, mother, Catherine Louise Bennett DeLaune, father-in-law Roger Eugene Poche, mother-in-law Delia Sanchez Poche, sister-in-law Jeanette Lambert, brother-in-law Harold Achord, brother-in-law Arthur Little, brother-in-law Bobby J. Matthews and brother-in-law Jay Bernard. 

Visitation will be held at St. Theresa Catholic Church in Gonzales at 9:00am until funeral mass at 11:00am on Friday, June 21, 2024. She will then be buried at Faithful United Methodist Church Cemetery in St. Amant.
