Peter G. Renz “Jerry”

A ceremony celebrating the life of Peter G. “Jerry” Renz will be held at 12 noon on Wednesday at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church Westwego; wake begins at 10 am. Jerry was born on September 19, 1944 and passed from this life on July 28, 2018 at his residence at the age of 73 years. Jerry worked for Bellsouth until his retirement; and was a Vietnam War Veteran serving with the U S Army. He had traveled the world; enjoyed scuba diving, race walking and stamp collecting. He is preceded in death by his parents Leo S. and Mildred Taylor Renz; son Randall Scott Renz; siblings Diana Renz Thompson and Joseph D. Renz. Survivors include son Curtis A. Renz (Jill); siblings Kenneth H. Renz (Carole) and Janet Renz McClellan (Patrick); grandchildren Rianna, Tayson, George and Crystal; great grandchildren Brian, Cody, Michael and Ryker; also survived by a host of nieces and nephews.
