Raphael (Ray) Lavergne, 77, passed away on Monday at Sterling Place Nursing Home in Baton Rouge, LA. He is a native of Eunice, Louisiana and a resident of Gonzales, Louisiana. Raphael was retired and doing what he loved best which was searching for collectibles and selling them.
He is preceded in death by his parents Jerry and Lillian Soileau Lavergne; brother, Wyble Lavergne.
He leaves to cherish his loving memories, his wife of 48 years, Debra Cardinale Lavergne; daughter, Jorretta Lynn Verdin; son-in-law, Jimmy Verdin; mother-in-law Shirley Migliore; sister-in-law Ginny Pascual; brother-in-law Mike Barrett; brother-in-law Sonny Cardinale.
Arrangements for cremation are with Church Funeral Services of St. Amant.
