Rhonda Ann Nickens Coppenbarger

Rhonda Ann Nickens Coppenbarger of Gonzales, Louisiana was born on October 29, 1957 with a heart of gold. Her soul was lifted from this Earth on February 2, 2022. Growing up, Rhonda spent much time with her family in church and loved  being teammates with her sisters on the church’s softball team, coached by their father. She enjoyed nurturing plants, playing games, and visiting with closest family and friends. Rhonda is preceded in death by her husband, Fred Leon Coppenbarger, her parents, Johnny and Jeannette (LeBlanc) Nickens, and siblings: Debra Blouin, Sandra Sheppard, Acklyn Nickens and Chantel Yates. She is survived by her children: Dawn Coppenbarger, Tessa Perry (Husband, Roy), and Jesse Coppenbarger (Wife, Charly), her grandchildren:  Alexis, Nicholas, Wyatt and Taytum Coppenbarger, and her siblings: Johnny Nickens, Donna Lambert, Kathy Lear and Jacklyn Stevens.  An intimate Celebration of Life for Rhonda will be hosted in the home of her daughter, Tessa Perry on February 12, 2022. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts are preferred.
