Rhonda Florence Roberts

Rhonda Florence Roberts, a native of Baton Rouge, entered into eternal rest on February 16, 2022.  On March 7, 1955, she was born the beloved daughter of the late Gordon and Bessie Roberts of Denham Springs, LA.  Rhonda was a graduate of Tara High School and later attended Arkansas College (now “Lyons College”) in Batesville, Arkansas, where she was a member of Kappa Alpha and received a Bachelor of Science Degree.  Rhonda was a devoted member of Jefferson United Methodist Church in Baton Rouge, LA.  She is survived by siblings Sandra Rider (and the late Doug Rider) of Denham Springs, LA, Gordon (and Cheri) Roberts, Jr. of DeLand, FL and Keith (and Becky) Roberts of Baker, LA.  Survivors include an abundance of nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, great-great nieces and nephews, numerous close cousins, and friends whom she loved dearly.  Rhonda was a bright star with a kind and generous heart – she would go out of her way to help anybody in need.  Rhonda, may you rest in eternal peace in your new heavenly home.

Rhonda’s memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, March 19th at Jefferson United Methodist Church located at 10328 Jefferson Hwy, Baton Rouge, LA 70809.  Family and friends are invited to celebrate Rhonda’s beautiful life on earth and her Heavenly homecoming.
