Roger Dale “Doodle Bub” Bateman, Jr.

Roger Dale “Doodle Bug” Bateman Jr., was born on December 5, 1970 in Baton Rouge, LA and passed from this life on Tuesday April 7, 2020 at the age of 49 years, at his home in Gonzales. He is survived by his parents Roger and Alice Watson Bateman Sr., his daughter that he loved very much, Alexis Ray Bateman; brother Benton Bateman (Bridgette); aunts Linda W. Lambert (Tim) and Pam W. Cannon (Kevin); uncles Ricky L. Watson (Lisa Casey), Jerry “Bo” Bateman (Mariel), John “Bully” Bateman (Virginia), Alvin “Tomma” Bateman (Theresa), and Troy Bateman; special aunt Laura Duplessis; also survived by a host of other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by his grandparents, great grandparents, two aunts and one cousin.
