Roland J. Millet, Sr.

A ceremony celebrating the life of Roland J. Millet Sr will be 10 Monday at Victory Temple Prairieville; visitation will begin at 8 am. Interment will follow at St Joseph the Worker Catholic Church Cemetery Pierre Part. Mr. Millet was born on March 22, 1937 in Gonzales, LA and passed from this life on Friday February 28, 2020 at the age of 82 years.

He was a resident of Gonzales, retired pipefitter, and a member of Victory Temple. He was extremely talented as an artist and musician. He enjoyed cooking, fishing and gardening. His passion was time spent with his family.

He is preceded in death by his parents Wilton and Delia Landry Millet; a daughter Rhonda Ann Millet; brother Alvin & Lawrence Millet.

Survivors include his wife Christine G. Millet; children Roland Millet Jr (Sandy), Sidonia Sanford (Randy), Wilton Millet (Denise), Israel Millet (Brenda); also survived by 4 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and another on the way.
