Ronnie Joseph Jasinski 77, born February 15, 1945 passed away on Wednesday, August 3, 2022. He was a native of Baton Rouge, Louisiana and resident of Many, Louisiana. A graveside service will be held at St Amant Holy Rosary Catholic Church burial site at 10:00 AM, Saturday, August 6, 2022. He is survived by his wife, Carol Jasinski; his children, Michael [Gari] Jasinski, Michelle [Chris] LaCombe, Christy [Joey] Bourg, Matt [Chrissy] Jasinski; his grandchildren, Blake Jasinski, Zach Jasinski, Chris LaCombe Jr, Jordan LaCombe, Stephen LaCombe, Isaiah Bourg, Elijah Bourg, Landon Bourg, Camryn Jasinski, Payton Jasinski, Addison Jasinski; and his sister, Beverly Fortenberry. In addition, he recently welcomed his first great-grandchild, Silas Bourg. He was preceded in death by his father, Felix Jasinski and mother, Leah Jasinski. Ron served four years in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War as an electrician on the USS Arlington, a World War II aircraft carrier converted into a radar picket ship, eventually being honorably discharged as a Noncommisioned Officer, Navy Petty Officer Second Class. After moving to Toledo Bend in 2005 with his dedicated spouse of 39 years, Ron enjoyed fishing as his favorite hobby but, as a lifelong problem solver, dedicated husband and father, he enjoyed helping his kids succeed and enjoyed his status as a proud grandfather more than anything. He had many years of enjoying life on the water with his family after many dedicated years of being employed at Union Texas, Honeywell and PCS Nitrogen in Geismar, Louisiana.
