Ruth O. Medlock

Ruth O. Medlock was born on July 29, 1930 in Kobe, Japan and passed from this life on December 16, 2019 at Zachary, LA at the age of 89 years. She was a former owner and operator of Hiroko’s Florist and Gifts in Port Allen and Baton Rouge; and attended the Baptist Faith. Her greatest passion was being a people pleaser, making people smile. She is preceded in death by her husband Charles E. Medlock Sr and a son Charles E. Medlock Jr. Survivors include her son Robert “Bob” Medlock, a sister Kayo Okita, grandchildren Eric, Chet, Adam and Racheal; also survived by 10 great grandchildren.
