Sandra Michot “Sandy” Pace, born in Marksville, LA and resident of Clinton, LA passed away on Friday, March 5, 2021. Sandy was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend who enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She loved trips to the beach and dancing at home with her favorite “good boy”, King. After the loss of her soulmate in 2010, Sandy spent her remaining years enjoying life with her dogs, children, sisters, and friends, who were like family. Sandy was a salty, quick-witted, intelligent, opinionated, honest, and hilarious. She will be fondly remembered by her own quote, “Get a job, pay my bills, and then you can tell me what to do!”. Sandy is survived by her children, Crystal Paola Antle (Paul), Kenneth Paola Jr. (Rachael), Stephanie Pace Smith (Josh); grandchildren, Mason Markins, Alexa Markins, Luca Paola, Samuel Paola, Nicholas Paola, Shelbie Antle, Madelyn Antle, Shelby Smith, and Sawyer Smith ;siblings, Karla Michot, Mona Michot, Terrie Taver (Louis), Lisa Michot, Barbara Michot; her beloved dog, King; close family friends, Mary Lou Eckert, Joseph Dufour and Jeannie Blackmon, as well as a host of nieces nephews and other family members. Sandy is preceded in death by her husband, Charlie “Joe” Pace; parents, Evelyn N. and Wyman Michot; brother, Wayne Michot; sisters, Dana Michot and Janice Michot; grandparents, Henry E and Evy Leen Novo. A memorial service to honor Sandy’s life will be celebrated at Wholly Ground (27988 Walker South Rd. Walker, LA 70785) on Friday, March 12, 2021 from 5pm until 7pm.
