Sandra Norwood Trabeau

Sandra Norwood Trabeau, age 78, passed away on Tuesday, July 9th, 2024 in Baton Rouge after a an earnest battle with a lengthy illness. 

Sandra was born in Baton Rouge on March 27th, 1946 and lived as a lifelong resident of Galvez. An attendant of Gonzales High School, she worked as a warranty clerk for the automotive industry thereafter. Sandra absolutely cherished her time spent with friends and family throughout her life, she was very blessed to be surrounded by so many loving relatives. She enjoyed many facets of life, including  in particular an adoration for vintage automobiles. She did not, however, enjoy television at all! 

Sandra is survived by her daughters Kerri Anders and Rachel Lambert (Mike); sons Blane Solar (Jodi) and Lloyd Solar Jr. (Danielle); sisters Lynette Kelly (Carl) and Tracy Norwood; special friends Ronnie & Claudia Hebert; long time friend Ruby Lejeune; as well as a bountiful host of nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. 

She is preceded in death by her parents; Varnado and Idell Norwood. 

Funeral services for Sandra Norwood will take place on Saturday, July 13th, 2024 at The Venue of St. Amant: 13475 LA-431 K, St Amant, LA 70774. Visitation will begin at 9:00 AM with a religious service to follow at 11:00 AM - officiated by Bro. Bobby Ready. 

Pallbearers include Nathan Solar, Jansen Solar, Cody Lambert, Christopher Lambert, Hunter Solar, Dustin Norwood, and Jason Norwood.
