Sharon Gail Dryden, 80, passed away peacefully on March 23, 2025, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, surrounded by family. Sharon was born on August 16, 1944, in Pollock, Louisiana, the daughter of James Alvin and Clydell Conn Dryden. She dedicated over 40 years of her life as an Insurance Agent, a profession she excelled at. Sharon loved spending time with her family, cooking, gardening, laughing with her friends, and visiting wineries with her children. Sharon, known as Gail to family, was admired for her generosity of spirit, infectious laughter, and ability to make friends with everyone she met.

Sharon Gail is survived by her three children, Heather Wallis (Victor Williamson), Wally Wallis, and Toby Wallis (Tammy Wallis); three grandchildren, Trent Wallis (Lauren Wallis), Trey Wallis, and Tyler Wallis; and a great-grandson, Baker James Wallis. She is survived by her sisters Connie Grimball and Juanita Mahfouz. She is preceded in death by her sister, Melba Doyle.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 26, at First Baptist Church in Zachary, Louisiana. Visitation will begin at 2:30 p.m., with a service starting at 4:30 p.m., and a reception will follow at 5:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Parkinson’s Foundation or the Arthritis Foundation.
