Sheryl Ann Carnegie

Sheryl Ann Carnegie, 75,  born February 12, 1948 in Amite, LA peacefully passed away on March 18, 2023 with her family by her side. Sheryl was a retired employee of the Louisiana Department of Agriculture and Forestry. She also worked previously within the LSU Department of Agriculture. Sheryl was a loving wife, mother, Mama, sister, aunt, and friend. She was the perfect model of unconditional love, kindness, generosity, compassion, joy, and laughter. Her beauty and style were unmatched. She was a strong Christian woman who has left an amazing legacy.

Sheryl is preceded in death by her parents Byron and Helen Andrus.

She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Roy Carnegie Jr. As well as her three children: Kimberly Carnegie Burgess (Ivan), Chrissie Carnegie Sloan (Sean), and Trey Carnegie (Lindsay). Her six grandchildren: Carson Carnegie, Trustin Sloan, Tyler Sloan, Greisyn Carnegie, Camille Carnegie, and James Carnegie. Sisters Brenda Montgomery (Bill), Joy Lynn Decuir (Terry), and Wanda Henderson (Harold).

Visitation will be held at Goodwood Church of Christ (10715 Goodwood Blvd, Baton Rouge, LA 70818) on Thursday, March 23, 2023, at 5:00 PM until service time begins at 6:30 PM.
