Shirley Rea Stafford Villar

A ceremony celebrating the life of Shirley Rea Stafford Villar will be held at Victory Temple, 41200 Highway 933, Prairieville, on Wednesday, November 16, 2022; visitation will begin at 9am with funeral service following at 12pm. Mrs. Villar was born on January 30, 1938, and departed from this life on Sunday, November 13, 2022. Interment will be at Galvez Community Cemetery. She is survived by her loving husband of 67 years, Clarence Paul Villar, Sr.; children, Paula Villar, Martha Posada (Jorge), Letreta Wilbert (Leslie), Sarita Craig (Tommy), Paul Villar, Jr., and Nicky (Danielle) Villar; sisters, Pearlie Stafford, Louis Stafford (Cynthia), Mac Stafford (Connie), Margaret Nickens (Nolan), grandchildren, Celeste, Dustin, Dayton, Martin, Mackenzie, Lyndon, (Leigha, Ethan and their mother, Shelley Johnston); and eight great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, Howard Mack Stafford and Myrtle McCory Stafford; sister, Jeanette Branam; baby brother, Lawrence Stafford; and her mother and father in law, Vick and Eva Villar.
