Shryl Lynn Garner

Shryl Lynn Garner departed this life on Tuesday, October 10th, 2017 at the age of 61, and went to her heavenly home. She was born in Baton Rouge, La. on April 3rd, 1956 and was raised in Pride, La. She last resided in Maurepas, La. Shryl attended Central Schools, and dedicated her life to being a homemaker. She enjoyed spending time with her family, and loved her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren dearly. She is survived by her son, Stephen Hutchinson; daughter, Donita Hutchinson Helg and spouse Lawrence; granddaughters, April, Tiffeny, and Rene, great-grandchildren; Aiden, Liam, and Sophia; brothers, Lionel Garner and wife Brenda, Morris Garner and wife Lois; sister, Donna Miller and spouse John; numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends. She is preceded in death by her spouse, Ricky Bourgeois; parents, Margie and Harrison Garner; step-mother, Ruth Garner; brother, Dalton Garner; and her grandparents. Special thanks to St. Joseph Hospice of Hammond, for their care and support. Visitation will be at The Church in St. Amant, 13423 La. Hwy 431, St. Amant, La. 70774, on Saturday, October 14th, from 11:30 am until the funeral service at 2:00pm. Interment to follow at Hope Haven Garden of Memory Cemetery, 604 E. Hwy 30, Gonzales, La. 70737. Pallbearers include Labin (Man), Labin (Tre), and Chase Garner, Ray Jr. and Christopher Hutchinson, and Marcus Cook.
