A gathering celebrating the life of Teresa Diane Freeman will be held on Saturday March 28, 2020 from 4 pm until 6pm at Dukes of Denham Springs. Teresa was born on December 17, 1946 in Houston, Texas and departed from this life on Saturday February 29, 2020 at home with the love of her life Howard Sealy. She spent most of her career working as a security guard, and a resident of Prairieville. Theresa was a very hard worker, loved church and her passion gardening and being extremely creative (self-taught). For several years while fighting her horrible disease she loved the outdoors and her and Howard totally transformed their front yard. It wasn’t until the last year and a hold she wasn’t able to do what she loved, working out in her yard. So that’s when she got into her other passion which was drawing; it was a blessing. Her daughter has a gallery of her art and a Howard has the remainder of her collection and is going to do a memorial gallery to remember Teresa and her fabulous talent. She is preceded in death by her parents Edith and Dalton Gregory; and a brother Johnny Payne. Survivors include her husband Howard L. Sealy; her only daughter Yvonne A. Morris; her son-in-law Jason H. Morris and her grandson Chad Morris-Bagley.
