Terri Alain Hardy Witmer

The family of Terri Alain Hardy Witmer would like to announce her arrival into the arms of Jesus on June 23, 2021.  She was a loving wife of 44 years to Ernie; momma to Jamie (Rhonda) and Eric (Lindsay); dear Maw Maw to Makenna, Campton, Kate, Cohen, Grant, and Landon; beloved sister to Debbie, Todd, Wade, Wyatt, Ellen, and Dallas “Buster”; and Aunt Terri to countless others.  She was born to Otis and Jackie on September 4, 1959, and grew up in Springville, Louisiana with her father and mom, Evelyn Hardy.   Her greatest attribute was love, which she portrayed to everyone she met, from her family and friends to her students and Sunday School children throughout the years.  Her pretty painted nails, joyful spirit, freezer full of ice cream, beaming smile, laugh, gentle hugs, sleepovers with Maw Maw, and of course her peanut butter fudge were some of our favorite things about her.  She will be missed by each life she touched. Visitation will be held at Fellowship Church in Prairieville on Tuesday, June 29, 2021, from 10am until celebration of life service at noon, and followed by graveside service at St. Amant Baptist Church Cemetery.
