Tommy Ray Daniels SR., 71, passed away on October 25th, 2024 at his home in Walker with his family by his side.
Born on November 19th, 1952 in Independence, LA; to parents Elbert and Willie Dea Daniels; Tommy made Livingston Parish his home, he was a native to the Albany area, and eventually resided in Walker, LA. Tommy was an avid outdoorsman, he loved to hunt and fish as much as he could, and his family recounts many a pleasant memory whilst raccoon hunting in particular. He was also known for mechanical affinity, Tommy was always known to repair automobiles, and could take apart and reassemble motors like it was second nature. Aside from his physical activities, Tommy had a fondness for Western films and books.
Tommy is survived by his spouse Naomi Pace Daniels; daughter Wendy Daniels LeJeune, son-in-law Richard James LeJeune, son Tommy Ray Daniels Jr.; grandsons Staff Sergeant Blade James LeJeune and Tommy Ray Daniels III; granddaughter Amethyst 'Ame' Colleen LeJeune, great-grandson Myles Xavier Daniels, brothers Elwood Daniels of Baptist, LA, Barry Daniels (Sue) of Killian, LA, and Ronnie Daniels (Sheree) of Pumpkin Center, LA; sister Sandra Daniels Wagner of Albany, LA.
A visitation will be held for Mr. Tommy Ray Daniels SR. on Friday, 11/1/24 at Albany Pentecostal Church 30203-30861 N Montpelier Rd, Albany, LA 70711 fro 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM; visitation will resume the following day (Saturday) at 9:00 AM, with a religious service to take place at 11:00 AM. A procession to Shannon Family Cemetery in Satsuma will follow, and conclude with a committal service.
