Tracey Anne Tilley

Tracey Anne Tilley, 43, of Baton Rouge, LA passed away peacefully after a brief battle with Melanoma surrounded by family at OLOL. She was born on April 1, 1981 and passed away on June 30, 2024. She was a beloved granddaughter, daughter, sister, niece, cousin, and friend. 

Tracey was an alumna of Broadmoor High School and Tulane University. She was known for her vibrant spirit, witty personality and caring nature, which touched the lives of many. Tracey was a culinary artist, lover of Bob Dylan and the Beatles and voracious reader. She enjoyed spending time with family, friends and her favorite pets, Birdie, Lucy and Norman.

Tracey is survived by her mother, Liz Bewley Tilley; twin sister, Stacey Lynne Tilley; aunt Jennifer Bewley; uncle Richard Bewley; and cousins: Rikki B. & husband Chris Rish, Kodi B. & husband Ryan Al-Marhoun, and David Bewley. Tracey was preceded in death by her grandparents, Dr. Byron and Peggy Bewley, and cousin, Lani A. Bewley. 

At OLOL, the medical team, Dr. Glenn Landry, and the Surgical Intensive Care Unit nursing staff, especially Kaycee, were very attentive and provided special care to Tracey during her final days. Thank you for providing excellent care.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital in Tracey's mem-ory. A private memorial will be held at a later date.
