Virginia Fonte

A ceremony celebrating the life of Virginia “Jenny” M. Fonte will be held at Christ Healing Community Church, 404 West Pine Street Gonzales. Service date and time are pending.

She was born in Livingston, LA on November 19, 1946 and passed from this life on Sunday November 22, 2020 at her home. She was a resident of Gonzales, a homemaker, and a member of Christ Healing Community. She was an avid fan of New Orleans Saints and LSU Tigers, she enjoyed time spent with her family, especially her great granddaughter.

She is preceded in death by her parents J. V. and Edris Fontenot, her son Richard Fonte, her husband Floyd A. Fonte Jr., her siblings Rosella, Linda, Carol, and John.

Survivors include her daughter Jenni Lynn Fonte Langlois, sister Beverly, grandchildren Shelyn, Crystal, and Stacie, great granddaughter Maylee.
