Wallace Joseph Primes, Sr passed away on June 14, 2021, at the age of 78. He was a native of Prairieville, Louisiana.
Wallace had a great passion for hunting, fishing, and old-school country music. He loved to make people smile. It was always his mission to be a bright spot in someone’s day. He never met a stranger. He spent 4 years in the Navy traveling the world and serving his country as an aircraft mechanic. He loved his family more than anything. He was a devoted husband and father.
He is preceded in death by his parents Joseph Wallace Primes and Audrey Mae Tomplet, brothers Danny and Bobby Primes, and 2 infant sons. Also preceded in death by his son-in-law Jimmy Rayburn.
He is survived by his wife of nearly 52 years, Diane E Perck Primes, his daughters Michelle Landry & husband Darrin and Missy Rayburn, son Wallace Primes, Jr., sister Joyce LeBeau and brother Billy DeLacerda, granddaughter Grace Rayburn Clark & husband Walker Clark, and grandson Brandon Primes.
Family and friends are invited to attend a service for Wallace at Faithful United Methodist Church, 14253 HWY 431, St Amant, LA 70774, on Saturday, June 26, 2021, from 2-3 pm.
