Wilbur Harold “Hb” Burns Jr.

Harold (HB) Burns passed away on August 25, 2021, at the age of 67, surrounded by his loved ones. He born on October 20, 1953, in Hammond, LA. to Myra Bobette Crawford Burns and Wilbur Harold “Buddy” Burns Sr. Harold grew up in Baton Rouge, LA and graduated from Broadmoor High School in 1971. He attended Southeastern Louisiana University where he played football and was apart of KDT fraternity. Harold was a racecar driver turned professional stuntman. He retired from a 30 year career in the film industry and Screen Actors Guild in 2011. He is survived by daughters Aleia Collete Burns and Jessica Breanne Burns; grandson Cameron Alexander Burns; and partner Margaret Christie Burns. Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, September 25, 2021 located at St. Albert the Great Catholic Church, 409 West Dakota Street in Hammond, LA 70401 at 3pm. In Lieu of flowers, the family requests that any donations be made to the church.
