Wilfred Babin

A Mass of Christian Burial for Mr. Wilfred James Babin will be held at 11:00am Monday at St. Mark Catholic Church; visitation will begin at 10:00am. Interment to follow at St. Theresa Catholic Cemetery. In his younger years, Wilfred enjoyed tending the family farm. He was a true FANATIC his entire life as he enjoyed most sports, but following East Ascension, L.S.U. and Saints football was a passionate past time for Wilfred. If it didn’t interrupt a televised game, he so looked forward to weekly BINGO games and an occasional trip to the casino. He is preceded in death by his parents, Maurice and Elphine Babin; siblings, Leo Babin, Evans Babin, Jerome Babin, Leola Babin, Marian Babin and Onia Babin. Survivors include his sister-in-law, Earline Babin; niece and nephews Dayna Sheets, Blane Babin, Jed Babin, and Russ Babin.
