Willard “Billy” Joseph Aydell Jr.

Lifelong resident of French Settlement, LA, Willard “Billy” Joseph Aydell Jr. went to his eternal home on Friday, May 17, 2024. He was 67 years old. Billy will be fondly remembered for his great love of his 12 grandchildren/great grandchildren (Macie, Aly, Justice, Briella, Harper, Bennett, Maddie, Lincoln, Izabella, Jackson, Millie, and Lennon), LSU Tigers, “cool Joe” and the Bengals, and the “dirty birds”

He is preceded in death by his parents Willard Sr. and Wilma Aydell, brother Terrance Aydell, and former spouse Brenda Aydell.

He is survived by his siblings (Marcella Tramonte, Wayne Aydell, Kenny Aydell, and Dale Aydell), children Blaise Aydell (wife Sheri), Brice Aydell (wife Kameron), and Amber Madere (husband Brady).  He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

Visitation will be Friday, May 24, 2024, from 9:30-11am at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 15710 La 16, French Settlement, LA. 70733 with religious services beginning at 11 am, followed by a joint interment of his and his former spouse’s (Brenda Ostarly Aydell) remains at St. Joseph cemetery. Services in care of Church Funeral Services and Crematory.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial tributes be directed to Billy’s funeral fund to assist with expenses.
