William “Bill” Olaf Johansen

William “Bill” Olaf Johansen was born May 16, 1949 in Patterson, New Jersey and passed on December 19, 2020 in Baton Rouge, LA. After high school Bill enlisted in the Navy after his service he relocated to Florida where he lived with his family until his final move to Thibodaux, LA in 1979.

He enjoyed watching Saints football with his son in law and daughter. Bill loved being outside with his plants using his green thumb and watching the birds. He loved spending time with his grandkids and showing them his skills while sharing special moments with them.

He is survived by his first wife Audrey Umbach and their daughter Jacquelynn Johansen Collins (Stan). He is also survived by his wife Celeste Hevia Johansen and their children Christian Johansen (Kelly) and Laura Johansen Hebert (Tadd). As well as four grandchildren Justice, Maddisen, Makayla Hebert and Kinley Johansen

He is preceded in death by his parents.

Memorial services will be held December 30, 2020 beginning at 10 AM at Healing Place Church Annex.
