William Thomas (Bill - Uncle Bull) Lefeaux

William Thomas (Bill- Uncle Bull) Lefeaux, a retired member of the Boilermakers Local 582, died Friday, January 24, 2025 at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center in Baton Rouge, LA. He was 70 years old and a resident of Maringouin, LA. A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, February 8, 2025 from 1PM to 4PM at Grosse Tete-Rosedale Lions Club located at 17350 Hwy 77, Grosse Tete, LA 70740. 

Survived by his significant other of more than 20 years, Jennifer Landry; and two loving daughters, Jeanne Clar Payne and Eveliana “Clarise” Lefeaux; grandchildren Portia Stoewer, Sawyer Walls (wife Keely), Cohen Fleniken, Maddex Payne, and Nevaeh Soleil; great-grandchildren Luna Estelle and Asher Reid. 

He is also survived by his 11 siblings and spouses, Charles Jr. and Beth, Janet and Orville O’Quinn, Kathy and Johnny Simoneaux, Donna and Henry Gueho, Evelyn Miller, Martha and Randy Wells, Linda and JB Easterly, Keith and Eileen Lefeaux, David and Brenda Lefeaux, Darlene and Chris Reine, and Eddie and Renee’ Lefeaux; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Bill was preceded in death by his parents Charles A, Sr. (Buddy) and Eleanor Lefeaux. 

Bill was born on March 8, 1954 in Baton Rouge, LA. He graduated from Istrouma High School in 1973. While in school, he was a member of the Nawaganti Indian Dancers. As an Indian dancer, he had the opportunity to dance in President Nixon’s inauguration parade in Washington DC and for a Macy’s Thanksgiving Day parade in New York City. As a young adult, he moved to Maringouin, LA and remained there until his death. While a resident of Maringouin, he participated as a member of the Lion’s Club. He enjoyed hunting, growing a garden, and other outdoor activities. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Grosse Tete-Rosedale Lions Club, 17350 Hwy 77, Grosse Tete, LA 70740. 

The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation to his brothers, David and Keith, and his niece Tanya, who assisted Bill with his care and many other matters during the last year of Bill’s life. Additionally, sincere gratitude to his caregiver, Francis Leblanc, who helped care for him allowing him to remain in his home until the end. 

Bill was greatly loved and will be immensely missed.
