Wiliam N Smith passed away Monday March 31, 2025, Surrounded by his family and friends.

He was born in Baton Rouge, LA, and a resident of Maurepas, LA. He was employed by Turner Speciality Services, at the Nutrien Nitrogen Plant in St. Gabriel, as a rail Inspector.

Family and Fishing was his greatest passion, and his BBQ pit was always ready for a delicious meal.

Survived by his wife, DeAnn Hoover Smith. His Children William N Smith Jr, Christopher J Smith, wife Ashley Smith. Rebecca Lynn Smith Mansur, Husband John Ryan Mansur, Courtney Reine Berry, Daven Reine, Jr, wife Erica Reine.

Siblings Melinda Smith Comeaux, Partner, Clinton Schouest, of St Amant, LA James Solar, wife Rose Mary Solar of Osaka, MS Richard Solar , Sevierville ,TN

11 Grandchildren, 1 special grandchild awaiting delivery, 2 Great Grandchildren

Numerous friends, co-workers, nieces, nephews, and his beloved companion “Bear”

Proceeded in death by son-in-law, James Berry. Father, William Smith, and Mother, Velma Morris Smith.
